Halston by Warhol at 101 on the Mezzanine
In 1975 Halston purchased this historic townhouse designed by Paul Rudolph. It's minimalist lines seems to mirror the essence of Halston style. He used it as a back drop for many gatherings and fashion shoots. Halston had an innate understanding of branding - with a ton of hard work and determination he branded for eternity his name and lifestyle. Montauk was his more casual seaside hideaway where he escaped from the rigors of his life to get back to nature. Photos (c) Lesley Frowick
